The preliminaries came to an end as the award ceremony ended last night. The China Club Cup is not only a racing competition, but a sailing party gathering domestic excellent sailors. They met and competed, they learned and grew, and they cheered and celebrate at the party.
After three days intensive racing, there were 16 teams won their entry to the final race which will be held during November 8th-11th. The challengers will then race against the defender to win the Big Shell Trophy. The winning team will also win their honor to curve the name of their team onto the trophy.
The winner of Group A was Team China Yachting from Beijing, and the winner of Group B was Team Shanghai Airport.
As one of the major sponsors of the race, Mr. Alan Lan, the managing director of Sunrise Marineware has awarded a $2,500USD cheque to the two winners seperatly.
