2010/7/1 - Harken Appoints Alan Lan as Company’s Representative in China

Pewaukee, WI—Harken Yacht Equipment announced today the appointment of Alan Lan as Harken’s certified representative in China.  As founder and president of Sunrise Marineware Limited, Lan will work closely with Harken to expand the company’s presence in China’s fast –growing sailboat industry.

Before founding Sunrise, Lan served as the China sales manager for a UK-based marine company. He has a degree in marketing from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and a degree in Software Development from the Information Technology Institution, NSW Australia. Lan is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
