This year Sunrise has newly introduced two rope brands into China market--Marlow Ropes(UK) and Lancelin Ropes (France) which were firstly shown to the public at Shenzhen International Boatshow. The fourth generation of Lancelin company, Nicolas Lancelin has shown up in person and demonstrated rope splicing on the spot. Harken new products display including Rewind winch and ESP furler; Spinlock hardware and safty products were atrractive to the staff from Shenzhen Maritime. They had shown their interest in Mast pro, lifejacket harness and safety lines. Edson steering wheel system was children's paradise. We met a lot of potential skippers there.

It was a great chance to meet quite a few old friends at one time at the show. We met EX-AC China Team manager Mr. Thierry Barot who currently lives in Hong Kong,  and he is very active in the professional sailing circuit within China mainland and Hong Kong. He has been a frined of Alan's for years. This time they have also discussed some projects along China costals in the near future. Thierry is going to lauch a sailing project among young people in China next year, and he has invited Sunrise to get involved in it. We belive the project will motivate more young peopel to fall in love with sailing!
